Do Your Hairdo's Get More Comments Than Your Blog?
You need to add more spice sister! Education is all very well but girls (and boys) just want to have fun! So if your hairdo is getting more comments than your posts, why not put a few pictures of it on your blog and ask people to comment on which suits you best. How can you do that on a Science blog, a travel blog, a real estate blog? Oooh, my ears are burning! I can hear the scorn from miles away - but even though it's just an example, it's not a bad one - if you get creative with it. With science you could create an article on the chemical properties of conditioners and dyes. With a travel blog you could use the different styles of French hairdressers contrasted with Jamaican dreadlocks, African beading and Indian mohawks as a theme. For real estate you could talk about hairdressers in the district that you've bought or sold a property for. It doesn't take much to add a little controversy to a post, something that 98% of the population will really enjoy reading. And you can always cheat a little on such a post and call your friends and ask them to comment. Strangers always feel easier about adding to a list of other comments rather than being first on the dance floor. Pick a hot topic that everyone is talking about and post about that. You'll immediately strike a rapport with your readers. Have an opinion and don't apologise for it. Your traffic will improve and your readers will leave comments. Make people laugh! Pour scorn on something! Send yourself up or find a great picture on one of the sharing sites and work it to fit your blog. You don't have to do it everyday, just now and then, to surprise people and get them involved. Adding spice to a post every now and then will make you memorable - even if it's only for your hairdo! |
